Message I'm eliminating my P/S return line that wraps around the radiator on either side. I'm replacing it because I'm doing the NA - TT conversion and I don't like the idea of it being smashed in there with the intercooler piping; it just doesn't fit nice.

I'm replacing it with some durable areoquip hose, and I haven't decided if it's a good idea to route it the same as the original, or make a straight shot and go under the engine.

I've heard that the hard line is there to help cool the hydraulic fluid. So I presume that if I took the short route, then the fluid wouldn't ever get the chance to cool off. On the other hand, even if I route it infront of the radiator, the hose I'm sure doesn't release as much heat as the metal tube does.

So... If the fluid needs to be cooled, then I'll install a cooler of some kind in the front bumper area. MVP has a deal on a Fluidyne transmission cooler for $50 right now. Would that work?

Thanks for all your input.
